I am a current member and level one certified coach through USATF. I am the boys throwing coach at Grayslake North High School and a Personal Trainer at Tactic Sports Perfromance. Through my years of athletics and coaching I believe that each athlete is a unique individual who desires an atmosphere where they are secured and capable of maturing intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. As a coach I have an indomitable spirit to help students meet their fullest potential in these four areas through safe environments, being supportive to those who are risk-takers and to those who are willing to share personal thoughts as well as new ideas. Through the club each member will have the opportunity to experience each outdoor throwing event with the help and guidance from their fellow teammates. My expectations from each athlete is to be: respectful , attentive, hard working, determined, and most importantly... TO HAVE FUN THROWING!
I was introduced to track & field in eighth grade and it became a passion of mine ever since. I continued my throwing career to Mundelein High School and then onto College at North Park University. I have vast experience in all four throwing events and have competed in the USATF Junior Olympics for four consecutive years. I have been apart of this club for two years as an athlete. This will be my first year transitioning from athletics to coaching. I am looking forward to sharing my personal experience and teaching the younger athletes in hopes that they will come to love the sport as much as I do!
